KASHA WASYLAK, REALTOR
Kasha is one of a rare breed of agents with the ability to not only make a real estate experience financially successful, but one that can be enjoyed. Graduating from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a B.A., Counseling Psychology in 2014, Kasha started her professional career as a guidance counselor. Where other agents can be overbearing or pushy, Kasha prioritizes putting her clients in the driver’s seat, walking them through a guided questionnaire to identify both the personal and financial goals that will help make the transaction a success. A specialist in commercial real estate and residential properties, Kasha is a unique agent who understands how to expertly guide her clients through the entire process, empowering them to make confident decisions at every step.
Whether buying a new home, selling a beloved property, or acquiring a new commercial investment, many agents add unnecessary stress to the experience. Kasha brings exceptional professionalism and integrity to every client engagement, ensuring a lack of communication or transparency – some of buyers and sellers’ most common frustrations – are never a concern. Preparing for a real estate transaction isn’t just about finances, it’s also about preparing for what can be a significant lifestyle change. To give her clients the most complete picture possible, Kasha conducts both extensive data analysis of the local market, and operates as a “boots on the ground” agent who regularly visits the neighborhoods and communities she serves.
A source of endless energy, drive and determination, Kasha is relentless in her pursuit of identifying solutions when complexities or challenges arise. While a frustrating bidding process or a slow-moving listing might stymie other agents, Kasha persists. She believes passionately that selling is about educating, not “pitching” the buyer. This strategy helped Kasha become one of the top retail sales reps for a national shoe company, and enabled her to sell her first residential listing at a record price during off-peak season. For Kasha, being a real estate agent isn’t about one-and-done transactions, but about building a community of lifelong clients that trust her to help them reach their highest potential with every engagement.
And when Kasha means creating lifelong relationships, she truly means it. A breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed at the young age of 26, Kasha never let her diagnosis slow her down. While undergoing treatment, she took it upon herself to attend real estate school to obtain her license – and plan her wedding. The first patient to finish the PAXMAN cold cap trial, Kasha was able to keep most of her hair for her wedding 6 months later, allowing her to say “cancer didn’t steal the show… our love did.” She has been interviewed and profiled by Dana Farber, NPR and was honored to join the cast of WEEI for their annual Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon in 2018. Kasha and her husband Patrick are proud parents of their almost three-year-old daughter Alexa, and whenever possible, try to enjoy time skiing together. One of Kasha’s favorite places is Okemo – also the name of her fearless blog – which she started to spread awareness about the use of cold capping to prevent hair loss during chemo treatment.Search Properties Showcased Listings
