Boston Area Information

Founded nearly a hundred and fifty years before the Declaration of Independence, Boston is famous for its blend of rich American history and look toward a modern future, both of which are aspects of the city that are reflected in its architecture.

Boston is the 24th most densely populated city in the country, which means there’s always a wide diversity of property available here.

A port city on the Massachusetts Bay, many of these homes have views of this gorgeous waterfront as well as the twinkling city lights.

With a bustling night life and close proximity to shopping centers, parks, museums, beaches, schools and so much more, Boston is a perfect area for families with small children, as well as young graduates and professionals.

For education, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (or MIT) and Harvard University are both located blocks away or directly on the Charles River that runs through the downtown core.

These institutions are among the finest in the world — Harvard University is a private Ivy League university that’s almost as old as the city itself, dating all the way back to 1636.

Parks run throughout the city as well, the largest of which is Franklin Park.

This large open space area covers over 500 acres and contains a zoo, golf course, and multiple sports courts, wetlands and fields to explore.

Other parks in the Boston area include:

  • Kevin W. Fitzgerald Park

  • Ramler Park

  • Joe Moakley Park

  • Public Park
